As the Vice Chairman of the Royal Bank of Canada, a $115B market cap company and the 5th largest financial institution in North America, Marty led 6 global P&Ls and salesforces, achieving record revenues and best-in-class customer experience for Retail, Corporate and Institutional clients. During Marty's tenure as Vice Chairman, RBC's market cap increased fourfold. As the Chief Operations & Technology Officer for Citigroup, Marty oversaw 150,000 employees across 160 countries and delivered over $3B in cost savings for the bank. At MetLife, Marty ran the Retail salesforce in North America where he doubled revenues.
Marty brings regulatory, financial and execution discipline to bear and has managed multiple mergers and acquisitions. Marty has achieved 6 JD Power Awards for Excellence in Customer Service. He has led complex operating portfolios and areas of operational risk and regulation including cyber security, AML and fraud. Marty is a leader in Digital transformation and has launched 5 industry-first innovations.
